Your life can look good on paper and still feel like a five-alarm fire in your body. In this episode, I'm pulling apart one of the sneakiest anxiety drivers I see in myself and in so many high-achieving, sensitive people: treating inconveniences, uncertainty, and other people’s opinions like real danger. When we label everything a “problem,” our nervous system stays on guard, our relationships get touchy, and we burn through the energy we actually need for the challenges that matter.
I connect this to spiritual growth and energy healing through the law of soul balance and the law of reflections. I walk through eight areas of life and explain how your higher self uses reflections to get your attention when you’re out of balance. I also share a personal story from my early entrepreneurship years, where my limiting belief about time and success created the very business friction I was trying to avoid, until I rebuilt balance and everything started moving again.
Then we get practical. I talk through a protocol I’m using to check for imbalance before I spiral, plus tangible “fake problem” examples from my real life: mom guilt over quick meals, social fallout at work, comparing your learning pace, and even the stress of hauling toiletries between two homes. The takeaway is simple and powerful: you can’t always control what happens, but you can get honest about what’s truly a problem and what’s just a loud perception.
If this hits home, listen all the way through, share it with a friend who overthinks, and subscribe so you don’t miss what’s next. After you listen, what’s one “problem” you’re ready to downgrade this week?
Welcome And Big Life Vision
SPEAKER_00Do you ever get the feeling that you're destined for an even bigger, bolder, more magical life? Welcome to the Conscious Glow Up. I'm your host, intuitive energy healer and coach Crystal Ward. My goal is to help you create the life you fantasize about by teaching you energetic spiritual laws of the universe and neuroscience tools. I'll share how I utilize these teachings in my own life with stories of single motherhood, entrepreneurship, finances, and relationships. Let's dive on into the depths of consciousness and glow up from the inside out. Welcome back to the conscious glow up. Today I am going to talk about problems that are not actually problems, which will tie into what I'm about to say. If you listened to the last episode about dark forces, which I highly recommend if you haven't, then you learned about the forces of light and dark and how they both play out in our world and in our lives, whether we are conscious of it or not. Because I'm in a class where I learn about dark energy and how to clear it, I've kind of invited it into my life more, not because I focus on it, but because it's a skill that my higher self needs me to master for energy healing, which is where my career is on a fast track to progressing to. And in order to be a fully comprehensive energy healer, you kind of have to know all the possible reasons someone is down bad. And a lot of the times it is a dark force issue. So my higher self has been gifting me all sorts of opportunities to practice what I'm learning in class. And you might be thinking, that sounds scary, but I assure you it is not. It is actually really cool. It has been really empowering and beneficial to my life and especially my relationship. I'm actually at the point where I don't even mind. I mean, it's kind of annoying, but I don't really mind as much as I used to when I wake up after Dark Force dreams where I know they attacked me. Yes, I do feel like Harry Potter. Um, and then the feeling of the symptoms I get from having second realm beings in my energy when I wake up, such as depression for no reason, anxiety, irritability, and usually a headache. The reason I don't mind it anymore is because I've learned how to successfully clear them on my own. There is really nothing for me anymore that beats waking up feeling like shit, feeling super low, knowing that if I don't do the work to clear the fuckers, that my whole day will probably be a spiral downhill, and I will likely get into some type of ridiculously stupid fight with my boyfriend. And then sitting on the couch, getting my body into my little energy setup so that I can do energy work more effectively, and then blasting demons and critters back out of my life. I mean, nothing that I have ever done in my life sounds cooler. So that is my segue into this episode. An extremely important part of clearing yourself of dark forces is also clearing the reasons you were vulnerable to them in the first place. This is not an episode on dark forces. You will see how how this ties into problems not being problems, which you can take that idea whether or not you choose to focus on the dark force clearings or not. So aside from being a high frequency, high conscious being, another reason we are vulnerable to dark forces is through our energetic imbalances. But why does balance matter? Because that is the goal of our soul and our higher self. It is called the law of soul balance, and part of that law includes the law of reflections. Reflections happen when our higher self wants to get our attention because it knows we are out of balance in a certain area of life. There are eight areas of life. Take a note: mental, physical, spiritual, family, social, financial, passion hobby, and vocation, which is the job your soul designed you for and is probably not your nine to five if you hate your nine to five. So there could be some good news there, could also be some bad news. When we are imbalanced in an area of life, which means we are having limiting perceptions of ourself, I am going to repeat that. When we are imbalanced in an area of life, which means we are having limiting perceptions of ourself, then the higher self will try to get your attention in a different area of life, usually a more important area of your life, because it knows that you are really paying attention there. For example, when I started my business, I decided that if I kept up a gym routine, it would take time away from my business. I was honestly a complete freaking workaholic in my business for the first about four years, and the imbalanced perception that I had was that I would not assign clients if I ever stopped working, and I mean literally ever stopped working. It sounds ridiculous, but it was true. I would work until 3 a.m. most nights, even if, you know, I was I had my daughter that week and she would be up at what 7, 8 a.m. And then all I would be thinking about during the day was my business. It felt like a freaking addiction. It was a whole mess, and I would like to say I am a recovering workaholic, still some reprogramming to be done, but I am far from where I was, thank goodness. So this imbalanced idea that time working on my physical area of life would negatively affect my business was actually what was negatively affecting my business. Our higher selves want us to be balanced in all areas of life, not just one or two, and neglect none of them. So because I was neglecting physical, she had to get my attention somewhere I paid a lot of attention to. She threw reflections in the area I cared most about, which was obviously vocation. What were my reflections, you might ask? Having so many consults and barely any of them actually following through and paying me. So I eventually got fed up with myself and my life and my business, and I finally started going to the gym again. It's kind of like that moment where in my head I visualize just someone throwing their hands up and papers going flying, and you're like, okay, this clearly isn't working for me. And that's the point I got. Only took four years. Um, but we got there, and that's really all that matters. And you know what happened within a week of my new routine? I think it was like three days, you guys. I signed my highest paying client to date at that time, and she paid in full and she tipped me. And we ended up working together for two rounds of my 12-week coaching program, and she added single sessions after that. So I bring this up because other than the fact that, you know, that information alone could change your life, reflections play a major part in dark forces being able to get into our energy. Recently, after a few weeks of battling demons and having to clear them, what felt like constantly, I learned a crucial piece of information in class. I received an entire protocol on how to check for dark forces before even having to get to the point of clearing them. AKA, I learned a great way on how to prevent them. Not that I will never have to clear them ever again. I did that this morning. But the protocol allows for some breathing room. It is extremely imbalanced or easy, as you can probably imagine, for us to become imbalanced in at least one area of life every day. Again, it happens from our limited perceptions, which are very easy to create. So I'm sure I'll be dealing with this stuff for a while, but it is nice to know how to not feel bombarded 24-7. It's been really, really fun waking up not feeling horrible for really no reason. You know, I look I look at my life and I'm like, okay, I have a pretty beautiful life. Why do I feel like crap in the morning? So it's nice not having that feeling every day. So the intention of the protocol is to intuitively check in on all of your areas of life and get an intuitive percentage of what your imbalances are and how severe they are in each area. So it's not like just check, check, check, like go through real quick. It actually takes some time, but it's so very worth it. And we do learn how to accurately test for percentages at guided light healing, where I'm learning to train my intuition to be 100% accurate. Yes, well, into here's the thing: intuition is always accurate. It's just how we get the information and how we interpret the information, but it is possible to become 100% accurate, but a lot goes into it. And for context, Google hires intuitives who only have a 50% accuracy rate. Another really cool area. I mean, you can use percentages for absolutely everything, it's really fun. So, you know, what's my percentage of feeling prepared for a test I'm gonna take, or what is the percentage that this supplement is going to help cleanse my liver? You can use percentages for everything. So the point of the protocol and this episode is to see where we are thinking there are problems in our life where there are not actually problems. Thinking things are problems that aren't actually problems can create mountains. I am your example, mountains of imbalanced perceptions about yourself and of aspects of your life which lead to negative emotional states, which then are very easy for dark forces to come and suck on your light and cause real problems in your life. And if you don't know what I mean about sucking your own your light, I went in depth on the science of dark forces in the dark forces episode before this, so it is definitely worth a listen. I learned the protocol a week ago and I've only one run through it the entire thing one time so far because you know what the heck I realized from just one run through? Man, I feel like there are problems where there aren't problems all the freaking time. All the time. Growing up, I had very high levels of anxiety all of the time. I took anxiety meds from age 16 to 19, which, you know, I guess was a nice band-aid for a while, but after getting off of the meds, I went through a massive spiritual awakening, which mine started by reading The Secret. You know, we all have our gateway. And a lot of my anxiety decreased after learning the power of thought, but it is definitely still in my blood, and nothing made me realize that more than walking myself through this protocol. I mean, I was feeling like there were problems in every area of life all the time. So it's been a week since I went through the whole protocol, which has been a good amount of time to build a lot of awareness, and let me tell you, the awareness has been built. I've noticed that during the day I probably think that 50% of my life is a problem that isn't actually a problem, and that is a generously small number for what the reality probably is, which I have not actually intuited for my life as a whole yet. Romantic relationships are where I tend to have copious amounts of anxiety no matter who I'm dating, and the other areas of my life where my fake problems usually hang out are parenting, that's a big one, as well as my business, my job, and the social area of my life. I'm kind of past the point of feeling so shocked and honestly amazed, like, how have I even made it this far in life this successfully? Constantly feeling like my days are filled with problems that don't even exist. But because I'm past the shock, I'm able to talk to you guys about it here, and I think it is worth it to bring it here right now because I can imagine that I am not the only person whose mind operates this way, especially in this day and age. And I'm a natural overthinker, which I've done work in the past with my prior life coach to be able to see that as a superpower, aka balance the perception, but all superpowers do come with, you know, their own sorts of complications, and creating fake problems apparently is a big one for me. So, what I have for you today, and you don't even have to relate it to dark forces, I only mentioned those because I wanted to give you context on why this understanding has been important in my life right now, and I wanted to tell you how I came to these realizations. But what I have for you today is the offering of awareness that might help you minimize some of your own unnecessary anxiety in life, aka fake problems. But yeah, anxiety is a whole nuance because anxiety can literally keep us alive in certain situations. Fear is a natural instinct born out of survival, but the amount of anxiety and fear and problems that aren't problems that the average human experiences today is through the roof. But it doesn't have to be like that. We have enough problems that are actually problems to deal with that we don't need to unnecessarily add on to the pile just because that's what our mind or nervous systems are used to. So I invite you this next week to build your own awareness of where you might be feeling like things are problematic that aren't actually problematic. Here are some tangible examples of problems that aren't actually problems from my life, so that you can get an idea of what I mean with all of this. One, not having the bandwidth to cook a home-cooked meal for me and my daughter, and instead popping some chicken nuggets in the oven. I always felt horrible about doing that, and it felt like such a big problem, but at the end of the day, I'm feeding my kid, I'm feeding myself. You know, as they say in the motherhood world, food is food, fed is fed. Number two, people at work thinking I am a horrible human being because I dated one person and am now dating someone else. Now, this was a whole big situation, huge, that I am not going to get into in this episode. But a friend at work did spill the beans that beans that were supposed to be kept a secret for a while, uh, spilled the beans to the entire restaurant. But I give this example because at the time it did feel like a huge problem, the biggest problem I probably faced in the past year. But it really taught me to just own my life, own myself, and it really does not matter what other people think of me. The whole world isn't supposed to like me, and it has been very liberating rooting more to that fact. Number three, going slower through intuition level two modules than I did for intuition level one. We are always supposed to be where we are in life, and where I am in class is perfect for the rate at which my higher self wants me to learn and integrate the new information and tools. My rate of speed does not have to be as fast or slow as someone else's rate of speed. Number four, and the last one. Going between my house and my boyfriend's house all the time and sleeping at each other's homes every other day. So one day we're at mine, one day we're at his, and we switch off because I have a cat in my house, so I won't leave her more than one day. Um, and I started to feel like carrying all of my toiletries around every day was a problem, and I started getting stressed at this lifestyle I currently live. But when I actually thought about it, there is no real problem. It is well worth carrying around my skincare routine every day if it means that I get to sleep next to the person I love every day. Well worth it. I could go on and on with examples, but those are some small and large ones, all which ended up not even being problems when I really evaluated the situations. We have enough to deal with, guys. I'm ready to mentally chill out more than I used to, and I invite you to do the same. Alright, I had a lot of fun with this one, kind of wove it with different topics such as reflections and dark forces and emotional imbalance and imbalanced perceptions and problems not really being problems. This information has changed my life in so many ways, and I hope it changes yours too.
